DEEN
Viceversa on a dark holder against a pale, matt ground in a slanting strip of light, onyx on top

Viceversa

Half a turn, and the other stone is on top.

Viceversa has two stones, one on each face of the oval head. Worn, only the upper one is visible, with plain metal either side.

Take it off, turn it, put it back on

You turn Viceversa in your hand, not on your finger. The band stays fixed; only the oval head with the two stones rotates. Give it half a turn and slip the ring back on, the other colour now facing up. You can turn all five pairings here.

Up close

All pairings are renderings; stones and finish may differ from what you see.

Viceversa close up: the upper stone in its setting, the plain shoulder beside it; the ring stands in a dark holder against a pale ground

Onyx · Lapis lazuli

Lapis lazuli. A deep blue that brightens in the light and turns almost to night in shadow.

Onyx. From a distance, a black oval in silver; up close, a surface where light lies as a single narrow line.
